FireWarrior

FireWarrior

FireWarriors are the ranged attackers of the game with the ability to throw balls of fire at enemy followers and buildings. They are the only units that can do damage from a distance and for that reason are great for defending against enemy followers and attacking shaman. FireWarriors are trained in FireWarrior training huts, the largest structure next to the balloon hut with two stylish torches out in front. Followers trained as firewarriors will carry two balls of fire which they can throw at enemies causing 2/3 the damage as the blast spell from a shaman.

Similar to the shaman, a firewarrior's blast range increases the higher it is, which means that a firewarrior on a hill or in a tower will have a great advantage in the distance it can throw its blast. As an added bonus, firewarriors in towers do four times the damage (though they can only fire at a fourth the rate as usual) making them essential in any good defense.

The primary abilities of a firewarrior are fighting and defending. They can fire at enemy followers and buildings at a rate of one shot every two seconds, and the effect of their shot is increased when multiple firewarriors all work together. During armageddon it can help to have a selection of firewarriors as they will stay at the edge of the arena and blast out large clumps of enemy followers without being in the hand to hand combat area themselves (unless everyone else died.

Firewarriors are also the only followers that have any affect on the angel of death, and the only defense against it besides another angel of death. If timed correctly, two firewarriors in towers can hold off an AoD indefinitely, and large amounts of towers can destroy one within seconds. It's also worth noting that a firewarrior with bloodlust shoots twice as fast, and will survive being eaten by an AoD to keep attacking.
