Brave

The Brave is your basic follower and the workhorse of your settlements. He constructs your buildings and can be trained to become more powerful with new abilities. Braves prefer to build and live in huts where they can breed more Braves.

You must have a sufficient number of huts for your followers; they will stop breeding if you do not. Since braves are the only followers who can construct buildings and gather wood, it is always a good idea to keep a few around just in case you need them.

The braves primary abilities are to collect wood for construction, construct buildings, create tribesmen, and generate mana. Although it is true that all followers generate mana, brave produce the most at a rate of 6 per minute in a small hut or working, 6.6 per minute in a medium hut, and 7.2 per minute in a large hut. Compare that to the measly 1.5 per minute for your other followers. However on the downside of the great mana production is that they only produce mana while they are working or in a hut. Braves do have the draw back of being poor fighters so you won’t want to be taking these guys into battle (unless it’s a brave war).
