you can record yourself playing using recording software or your home filming camera.
if you want to see someone else playing ask them to record themselves or look on youtube for players who recorded themselves and shown the world how much they suck at this game.
isnt it obvious?

I think he means recording a demo like in the Rolling Demo. I'm afraid you can't do that at all. The best way to do something like that IS to record in a video format.
Doom - A game where you kill stuff.
Populous - A game where you own and conquer other people.

for example a format that save all actions of all players, so you can watch the game again but you could control the camera. you understand?

Yeah like I said, thats impossible to do without hacking the game source. You might as well just go for the video option.

From what I last heard from Daroo in PopMs is Onkar was working on a feature to save games and possibly record them to be played, but recording this data would probably be massive and require too much to make happen.

While taking teaser shots for my mappack, I discovered something weird about PopTB. It seems to have a built-in recording feature.
It doesn't work, though, as it causes the game to run extremely slowly, preventing you from capturing any real footage.
To enable it, press Ctrl + Alt + C. This causes the game to take a screenshot every half-second or so. You can then compile them in Movie Maker.
...or you could just download Hypercam2 for free and use that.

and u rlly believed that?
I accidently found a way to extract all the information from a brain into a harddisk but it takes so much space that it would fill up all the Hard disks in the world times ten . *true story
i'd rather see swine fly than onkar doing something useful

Its not that hard to save an online game. save folder > sync data

Not to mention that was months ago before PopMs quit making any sorts of progress, before Apnea quit Populous altogether, before Daroo became too thick headed to realize his fish up and Onkar became a mindless idiot. If it were to be done, it would've been done already.
